A Sound Spectrum Analysis tool ?
Seeing as the Mclass Master Suite was included into Reason 3 so as to make the program all you really need to even Master your rns file, i would welcome a Spectrum analysis device to the Mclass family.
Very often i would like to be able to visually see the frequencies and how they are working together in my mix, thus having to export the song as a wav file every soo often just to see this in another program gets a bit annoying.
Also a time display for the song !!! maybe its because i got so used to working with such a feature prior to coming to Reason. If there is a way to figure out song lenght in Reason (i dont mean the song file info either), please someone let me know.
Then DR Rex.I would like to see a Rev option per slice, so one could program a straight Beat for ex, but the 5th slice would play in reversed then the 6th and so forth would carry on playing as normal.
One could choose this to affect the entire loop or only per slice.

Re: A Sound Spectrum Analysis tool ?
i'm responding to this thread because i have also requested several times for a spectrum analyzer to be added...

a time display would be cool too.

Let's hear it for the Spectrum Analyser! - 468x60.jpg

The Spectrum Analyser does come up from time to time on this forum, so hopefully, the Props will take notice.

Good suggestion!

How about Fre(a)koscope?
: If spectral analysis is important to you, I would like you to try out Fre(a)koscope by mdsp @ smartelectronix.
Open this in your VST-capable ReWire-host and behold, your need should be satisfied.

I agree with you on the time display. That can be very useful.

Give Fre(a)koscope a try. It's free!
