CALLING ALL PRODUCERS| Need submissions for upcoming beat battle in Los Angeles

MICROWAVE MONDAYS is throwing its first ever live beat battle, and we are looking for producers to compete!
The Heatwave will be a 3-round, 8-contestant, head-to-head, guest-judged producer battle taking place at Nola’s in Downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, December 27th. Prizes will include software and hardware products from Propellerhead and Native Instruments, a mastering session at Truth Studios, and a lifetime subscription to
The battle judges will be Willie B (TDE/Digi-Phonics), House Shoes (Tres Records), Amp Live (Zion I), Duke Westlake (Knocksteady), and Glenn Gonda (Truth Studios).
The event will be hosted by Bambu, and feature live performances by Open Mike Eagle, DJ P-Trix, Dibia$e, Duke Westlake, Amp Live, and House Shoes.
If you are interested in competing, please submit 3 sample-based or non-sampled-based beats to by Sunday, December 16th. The cut off time for submissions will be Midnight PST.
Failure to comply with the following submission guidelines will automatically disqualify you from being considered.
  • Each beat MUST be 2 minutes or less in length.
  • All beats must be submitted in .mp3 format. No uncompressed files (e.g. WAV, AIFF) will be accepted.
  • Include your name in the mp3 filename.
  • Include your government name, producer name, email, and phone number with your submissions.
If you are one of eight producers chosen to participate in the battle, we will notify you by email no later than Thursday, December 20th.
