As the support section says, at the end of the day the auth card IS WHAT YOU PAID FOR, and if you have it you can initiate a license transfer ;-)
So basically you're saying that the license loss point that i quoted above...well... it's pointless ?
Obviously if the auth card is lost, and the license is already tranferred , that will be some more details to provide to the support team, dont'you think ?
You, as the "buyer" can't just send them the photocopy of the auth card that u've found in the metro, to have the license removed from someone's account, but also point them to some details about the account that owns the license !
They will also contact the account owner, then, again, they will ask for details of the tranfer.
- users involved
- eventually paypal tranfer
- forum posts
I think that u should read this ONCE AGAIN, !
Once the license is tranferred to your account, your account becomes your FULLY LEGIT license auth card. For the rest of failed tranfers , you will have to show proofs that you bought the software from someone !
What happens if the seller lost the authorization card? This depends on whether the seller registered the license number on the Propellerhead website or not. If he did, you can still buy the program and we will transfer the license registration to your user account upon request from the seller (you can't request a transfer yourself if there is no authorization card). If the seller did not register the license number with us and has lost the authorization card, your program is not registereable and we would strongly advice against buying it as you won't be able to upgrade it (or register it).
