Don't watch TV since 2008 and feel fine. Don't read newspapers as well. It's nothing but reprinted propaganda from NYT which I don't care of... I read books instead and watch films on DVD sometimes.
Actually I do work with theatre quite often so somehow have an opportunity to participate in it creatively.
I'm usually at work at least 10-12 hours a day after which I'm really exhausted and I struggle to have some time off for my creative interests on the daily basis. That's why I consider gaming (as well as watching TV...) nothing but the waste of time.
I agree that my style of life may look a bit absurd comparing to the common absurdity we are living in.
