If you register your Record licence to your user account, you'll be able to use internet verification to authorise your copy of Record for the time being.
You'll also be able to access the support form here:
Send us a mail and let us know exactly what's happening - describe step by step what you're doing. If you're not able to connect to the server, then the issue probably is with your internet connection, but I'm sure we'll be able to help you sort it out.
