Smile rex files / midi files

I have been looking for some urban loops and was directed to prime loops which seems a good site when a look at formats to buy loops in i have a wide choice, but my problem is one that reason 4 supports rex 2 files but I am not sure if reason 4 supports wav format. I have many wav files but reason 4 cannot see than as usable files. DOES REASON ONLY SUPPORT REX AND NOT WAV FILES? Hope someone can help me

Reason supports Wav/Aiff/Sf and Sf2 sound formats also.
Unlike Rex files you cannot browse these by creating a device, but by actually first creating a Redrum, NN19 or NNXT, then loading the desired Wav samples.

and then read the manual which will further tell you what instruments will play wave files and how you can further tweak's a good read. Props gives the best manual of any audio software out there.
