Izotope Ozone 4 Mastering software

Hey everyone, I am in the market to pick up some mastering software to give my Reason tracks a little bit o' professional shine. I have researched the Ozone 4 software the most and it seems like the best bang for the buck ($199) but I am also looking at the T-Racks 3 software also but it's quite a bit more expensive. Does anyone here own or use Ozone 4 and have any opinions on it? From what I've heard in reviews it's a fantastic piece of software but just seeing if anyone uses it. Thanks. (and please, no "you can do it all in Reason with the M-class mastering suite! comments)

I had the demo of Ozone 4 and thought it was fan-frigging-tastic. I would have bought it but I got Record instead. It will be mine (soon).
I'd say get it. Then send it to me!

Thanks Grum. I'm definitely gonna get it. I've heard nothing but rave reviews thus far and that's good enough for me!

I actually use both. I love the multiband in Ozone but I also like the character of the TRackS stuff.

I don't think you could go wrong either way. But I would tend towards Ozone as a package and then try the TRackS singles in demo mode to see if any appeal to you and get the ones that seem to compliment the Ozone package.

Here are a couple of reviews in sound on sound (you won't be able to read the full article unless you are a subscriber or pay for the full article - however, I think all articles older than 6 months are fee).

You can download a demo of Ozone and try it for 10 days (which as I have a week off work, I plan to do tomorrow)...

I use logic and I also have TC electronics Mastering software.... and I keen to see if Ozone can really do more than those.

The downer is that I never actually mastered a track using the demo. I was in the middle of doing a song so only played around with demo while the track progressed.
Bottom line is make sure you can do something in the 10 days - it isn't long in music creation land!

Grum.

Edit: I realised 12 hours later that the above post is a lie! I did do one track with it. Sorry.
