Rack extensions - Thor, Malstom etc

I've used a demo of Reason 5 and am now on the verge of buying either 6 or Essentials. The recently-announced Rack Extensions look to be an exciting development but my question is this - if I buy Essentials (and I get the update to Re), will Propellerhead be making the modules removed from Reason 6 to make Essentials available as Re? (does that make sense?). Specifically, I'd be interested in Thor, Malstrom, The Echo and Unison - if so, how much would they be likely to sell for?
Thanks for listening.

You'll be best off just getting a full R6

The synths you mention is only available in full fledged Reason version and they are not in REs version and will never end up in shop...

Thanks for the quick reply - there is a huge difference in price in the 2 though; Essentials is £85 UKP and 6 is £299 UKP so, if they do get released in the Re shop, their prices would be the deal maker.

They are other features missing in Reason Essentials too such as Blocks. Check the comparison chart on the product page..

I don't think the Essentials will be RE compatible. Essentials seems to be an entry level, non-expandable version of Reason. If you want to have all Reason devices and access to the RE shop in the future, you're better off buying full Reason now. Of course, you can always get Essentials now and upgrade later.

Essentials is getting the 1.5 update so it will be compatable with Rack Extensions.
