Mono button?

I'm surprised there is no mono button in the master section of the mixer. Am I just missing it? (My apologies if this issue has already come up in the forum...)

Does anyone know a quick way to check your mixes in mono?

Thanks,

Tom

Put a line mixer inside a combi. Pan channel 1 hard left and channel 2 hard right. Route your master output into the line mixer with the left channel in 1 and right channel in 2. route the mixer output to your hardware device in the rack. Now program the combi to where button 1 solo either the left or right side.

Thanks... That will work, but seems a little clunky. I wonder if 6.5 will have this?

That's splitting the right and left channel, not combining them both into a mono signal.

Use the stereo imager for that.

Have a combinator at the end before the audio goes to the interface. Inside it, a line mixer. Route the left input channel to channel 1 on the mixer and the right to input 2. Then route the mixer to the output and lower the master volume to 80.

When enabled, the combinator will make the audio mono. Bypass to disable.
