Recycle RE

I am sure this has already been suggested. But a full Recycle RE with a cool expandable drop down screen. 99€ c'mon!!

Theres definitely a chance, a lot of people have suggested it or gave it a +1
It will be interesting to see what they come up with if they do make it as an re and will it be free or discounted for current license holders of recycle

I'm hoping they release it as an RE rather than bundle it with version 7 so that i may get it sooner, failing that i'll probably buy recycle when funds are there if the props haven't announced anything by then

Agree with all the points regarding costs and free RE to existing licence users. The retail price of Recycle is now so high in relation to what it does (albeit it does that one thing superbly), that you could almost buy a another DAW that does slicing and just Rewire or bounce the file. I use Logic Pro 9 for current slice and dice duties but accept that I can't save those bounces as REX files. Having the full Recycle app in Reason, right there on a rack, is too tempting for Props not to consider it in my opinon. Having a sample button so you could capture audio on the fly, slice it, BPM it etc and then copy to track...boom!

instead of a RE I think it should be imbeded in the workflow of the program itself and fused
in the sample editor

Heh, after already starting a thread about it I read your response on this thread. I totally agree. They should allow Dr. Octo Rex to open audio files and chop it right there. The power of that workflow improvement would be crazy and be a huge boost to the number of people that use the Dr. Rex in creative ways.

I really need this feature in reason, I use Geist by fxspansion as it has a really great sampler and slicer.. But I would just love to be able to use this feature within reason.
I really hate going from one program to another just to cut a sample, if reason had midi out i could sample a kick from kong on my akai s900, program a beat and the sample it back into reason and slice again

It would be such a better work flow, and thats what the reason philosophy is all about right? making music without being distracted by inhibiting workflow forced on you by your software's limitations

Midi out is another killer lacking feature for me... Recycle fused into reason and midiout and I will use reason only.. and life would be good
