Portable Reason 6 (HELP!!!)

I am currently running my Reason 6 software through the Open Labs Neko TSE. I'm looking to work between two locations eventually, and I'm wondering what's the best way to transport my work. This might be a silly question, but is it possible to simply take my files using an external drive, in conjunction with my ignition key? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can just use an external drive.
If you're using samples you might want to go into the self contained settings and make sure they get included in the file when it's saved. If you're just staying put you don't need to do this as Reason will refer to the last place the sample was found, but for being mobile self contained files are best. Obviously files that contain self contained data will be bigger.
Alternatively you can get a google drive or dropbox so that you can download your files where ever you get an internet connection.

Thanks for the reply! But for the software itself, do I need to transfer it from the hardrive on my Neko onto the external drive? In others words, If I decide to go to a different studio other than my home studio, am I doing the right steps to be able to access Reason if I were to go to a completely different facility? I basically want to be able to work on something from home, then take whatever with me to another place, and still be able to access Reason software and continue working.

You'll need to install Reason on both computers (which is allowed). The only thing you can transport from one computer to another is your files: songs, patches, refills, patches.

You can download the reason install exe and put that on your external drive so that you have what's needed to install reason on any computer you want to use - this is what you'd do if the other computer is not connected to the internet. (make sure you download the 3GB+ version that includes the Factory Sound Bank and Orkester).
