8 Bit Throwback/Modern DnB tune

Listening to the likes of Savant and Mord Fustang, two artists clearly influenced by Classic video game music, I decided to take chiptune style melodies as a starting point, then added a big drum n bass drop on top and I think it kinda works. More importantly though, what do you think?

Seriously though i like it man, quite partial to a bit of 8 bit (fake bit) chip tune

Nice stuff going on in this one. It reminds me of the early 90's jungle dnb stuff which I love so dearly. Kind of like this one...

I dont think the chord progression is totally working - I am also getting some serious ear fatigue on this track. Stopping cuz its too screechy. Its a cool idea though. It could actually turn into something pretty hardcore dubsteppy if you reworked the drops and slowed it down with a halftime routine.
