Create Rex files within Reason

I would like to for instance be able to generate a complete rex file from the mixer channels. Similar to bouncing but rather than bounce to wav, will bounce to standard rex2 format files that I can use within the project ( as a Kong sample or Dr Octo Rex ).

It's so obvious that we can do all the stuff with the audio files in Reason without converting them into Rex files!

Dr. Octo Rex cool player, but you can use audio files with the NN-XT & Kong & have totally the same features which Dr. Octo Rex has!

You can simply sample audio files to the new samples as you want within Reason!

Yep, maybe you need to do more moves, but still you can do all the stuff with the audio files without converting them to the Rex files & further more, you could do that since Record!

I suggested that props do something similar to ableton.
Right click on a bit of audio and select 'slice audio to rex track' which will automatically detect the transients, create a new Dr Rex track and import the newly sliced rex file to the device. It would be a really useful feature to have.
The only difference with ableton is it's not rex.
I only used it once when demoing ableton but it was pretty cool and useful. I used it to chop up an audio file of a synth and then on the new midi track played in my own melody but same synth. For me personally this is one of abletons big features to boast about and i'd love so much for propellerheads to implement this feature, such a good tool to have especially if you're into doing remixes like me.

This would be a great feature in the nn-xt. Split audio at transients then map each to a slice in the sampler.

But of course, during my short time on the forums i can already see this is a much talked about subject so i won't go on about something thats been covered a few (1000) times
