Moog RE's

I wouldn't have thought this in any way likely in a million years .... until recently. Now we have RE technology, Moog make iOS Apps & companies like Cakewalk/Roland are doing RE's!! So I guess anything is possible. Animoog & Filtatron on iOS are stunning Apps. I'd love to see Moog do an RE. Maybe a Minitaur like monosynth. That would be sweet in the Reason rack Dream on, db73! More chance of getting MIDI-out than this happening!

Have you considered asking Moog about this? Props don't tell people to make REs, developers choose to make REs

I think Animoog might be a bit ambitious for the Reason rack given that it's designed specifically around the touch screen + I'm not sure the current RE SDK could come anywhere near it! But an Animoog like RE from Moog would be nice Animoog sounds fantastic. I'm still blown away by it. My thinking here then is based on this & how good Moog, traditionally very much a hardware only company, managed to pull of software (albeit iOS) instruments/FX.

Yeah Animoog would be difficult and crippled in the rack as is. I would buy a Moog Minitaur or Minimoog RE any day!

For Animoog, Reason would need support for polyphonic pressure/aftertouch as imho those peformance keys with individual modulation per note is a big part of the Animoog sound, without it, it wouldn't do much.

For a Minimoog type RE you are probably better off pestering Urs (u-he) for a Moog clone based on DIVA in RE format. DIVA is the best sounding Moog emulation I have heard in my life, it's just so damn good and I dare say that Moog wouldn't necessarily do a better emulation (there, I said it). It's also more likely that Urs would do something like that for Reason (maybe not full on DIVA but a monophonic version based on the Mini perhaps).
