Exclamation 'No audio inputs avaliable, please check your sound card settings'

That is what Reason is telling me, Audacity detects my guitar fine, but Reason 6 wont, that's all i can tell you, I'm so frustrated right now.

Does it help to be frustrated?

What kind of interface are you using? Did you install the correct ASIO drivers? Did you e-mail support?

No it doesn't help to be frustrated, but i am using a 1/4 to 1/8 converter and plugging it into that pink plug in the back of my computer. I installed ASIO4ALL as suggested in another thread on these forums, I also didn't know there was an option to email support :/

Did you select ASIO4ALL as your audio device in reason and have you checked that there are no conflicts with your audio devices. There is an ASIO settings window that will show you if you have any problems and allow you to choose which devices ASIO4ALL will include in it's activity. You might be having problems if Windows sounds are on and if you have a Browser window open. Try making sure Windows sounds are off and rebooting your PC before you go pestering support.

You really should consider getting an audio interface. Onboard cards generally aren't very good. You will probably have noticeable latency issues.

I think I've turned off system sounds, i followed a tutorial that said to set the 'default beep' to 'none'.

Ok so I've actually got it working! Through many restarts and driver reinstalls, however there is an almighty amount of noise getting in the way of actually hearing it, this is also present in the audacity recordings, so i'm guessing thats my onboard sound card or something :/
But thanks a load for the help
