REZ 5 / Techno

Hey all,

Techno track I have been working on, tried something a bit heavy with some pads thrown over the top courtesy of Predator RE (which I bloody LOVE),

Would appreciate some feedback as it's still sounding pretty rough, hope you like!

good one

like the classic style going along with housy pads. Those buzzing electrifying backgroundsounds could be a bit richer for my taste. Adding a little wandering stereospread could also enhance the roomy feeling of these. A simple baseline can contribute the beat.

Cheers man,

Yeah I see what you mean they could be a bit louder and would get more attention wider in the mix. I'm having a bit of trouble with the bassline though, it is there but maybe it's sitting too low in the mix or getting phased out by the kick? Maybe some kind of mid range percussive bass might pick things up a bit.
