strip silence

We need strip silence for Reason. I'm tired of having to erase any dead space between vocals adds or anything like that. People asked me before why don't I just use a gate, well I'd rather fix the main sound source than try to fix it in the mix. To me it's better that way.
Here's a video showing what strip silence does...

That's what I do right now. It would just be nice to have this feature. I'm not complaingin just would be nice to edit quickly instead of taking 15-20mins to edit everything.

Didn't mean to be a dick but i kinda love the editing It's a thing i'm used to and always will want to do haha. It could ofcourse be faster but getting down and dirty with the audio is something i wouldn't want to give up. I know i'm a nerd lol

Dave and djphat - Hey, I’m with you guys. I don’t have anything against speed; but when I’ve got a track that I know is a winner and I’m gonna listen to 1,000+ times until I die, then I want every syllable to be exactly the way I want it. Creating the silences is just a natural part of razoring clips and adjusting the Volume Level Handle for every single syllable that I decide needs it. It’s a labor of love -
