Audacity + Podfarm

Can you use the free audacity recording software with Podfarm? If so, can you record the wet sound with it, rather than recording the dry sound and adding the effects to it later? I'm interesting in hearing the effect as I am recording them.

Audacity has a VST enabler, so it should be possible to do this.

You'll probably need low-latency drivers, so check out ASIO4ALL.

You might also want to look at Guitar Rig Free and Amplitube 3 Free, which should also work.

If you have trouble getting them to work in Audacity, you can try Samplitude Silver Edition or MuLab Free.
