I've always wondered why some RE's look huge and can't have parts expanded or collapsed like the NN-XT. Is this a SDK limitation?

Completely off here, but when I spotted the thread title, I thought someone was suggesting a Hyde Park RE... I think I miss summertime...



More slightly on topic, yeah, this is certainly due to some SDK limitation. A future SDK will surely allow native devices and REs to behave the same way without restrictions. Let me dream of a summer afternoon in the park now while we wait...
