How do i sample with reason or recycle?

Im from the MPC era and i for the life of me cant figure out how to sample some of my oldies records and cd's!!!! How can i extract just a loop in a song from a CD in my CD-Rom.I'd like to process it through Recycle so i can loop it in Dr.Rex! Any info would be greatly apreciated!!!! Im sure theres a simple solution, i just dont know it.

If there is any other software i need please let me know what it is.

Record it into an audio editor then chop off what you don't need. Save it as a wav then load it into recycle.

You need to get another piece of software to sample with. Reason does not record audio. There are a ton of programs that can be used for this.

here are simple directions, just take whatever it is that your trying to sample and convert it to a wav file. from there you can load it up in Recycle and sample what ever it is that you want and turn it into a loop.

simple ehh??
