BV512 - Hold button CC#? Anybody know it?

I'm programming my PCR-30 to work with the BV512, but I can't find the CC# for the Hold button in the MIDI implementation chart. If anybody could tell me what the CC# for Hold on the BV512 it would be great.

Re: Register Reason first. Questions will be answered later. n/t

I choose not to "register" my software, because I don't feel any company that creates software of any sort has the right to know my address, or other personal information.

If you're simply withholding the information because I don't have a reason icon by my user name, screw you. There are only 127 controllers to choose from, less considering those already assigned to various parameters... Shouldn't take over 30 minutes to try the remaining controllers.

Man, I tried to hold back my tounge but people like you are real pricks.

No thanks - Wizkid

Make up your mind

:Either close this board to unregistered users, or stop being a dick. If you want to continue to be an elitist jerk, join a country club, or a white-supremacist movement.

There are a thousand reasons why somebody might not be registered, and although the most common is probably piracy, it is unfair to assume that unregistered users are all criminals.

Why bother posting a reply like that anyway? Are you trying to discourage some of the more considerate people on this board from offering help? Is the primary function of this board to share information and experience, or simply to convince people to register their products? Would you ignore useful advice just because it came from an unregistered user?

If your answer to that last question is "no", then your refusal to post an answer in this thread is groundless and hypocritical.

: Either close this board to unregistered users, or stop being a dick.

Agree 100%. The board should either be closed, or the icons removed, but this compromise doesn't work.

: If you want to continue to be an elitist jerk, join a country club, or a white-supremacist movement.

Yeah, that's perfectly logical. If you want to discourage software piracy, you belong in the KKK.

: There are a thousand reasons why somebody might not be registered, and although the most common is probably piracy, it is unfair to assume that unregistered users are all criminals.

I didn't make that assumption. You assumed I did.

I try to stick to the principle that whenever someone who is unregistered posts a question that indicates he's not using the demo but the full version, I encourage him to register and/or send the question to tech support. That way it sorts itself out - if he registers, he registers. If he sends the question to tech support instead, he will not get a response unless he can verify that he's a legit user. Props can't stop piracy, but what they can do is to offer extra benefits for legal users as an incentive. The song archive. Reload, Reason 2.5. Tech support. Contests. 100 MB free samples. But the board is the loophole where pirates can suck more blood by getting free support from legit users, those who invested their hard earned money in this project.
And that's a shame, but what we can do to support Props is to be mindful of who we help.

: Why bother posting a reply like that anyway?

Because the number of posts from unregistered users, including several blatantly obvious pirates, has skyrocketed ever since some started complaining about the "registration police". Nobody dares bring up registration anymore for fear of being labeled 'elitist'. And every now and then there has to be a reminder that pirates shouldn't fool themselves into thinking the board is a safe haven.

What really confuses me is why you, being so anti-elitist and considerate, spent energy responding to me instead of helping Wizkid with his problem?

: Are you trying to discourage some of the more considerate people on this board from offering help?

Are you suggesting I'm not helpful enough? Last time I checked, I had busted my nuts writing a tips & tricks article each month. I have also helped thousands of Reason, ReBirth and ReCycle users out on this board over the last six years, moderated beta testing, and handled the support inbox. As long as I know I'm helping legit users, I'll do my best.

:If your answer to that last question is "no", then your refusal to post an answer in this thread is groundless and hypocritical.

The question doesn't apply at all, because if I had anything to do with it, the board would have been restricted all along, so I can assure you I don't need to "make up my mind".

It must really be hard living in a place, where exercising your right to privacy turns you into a pirate. I really feel for you and your friends.

I'm from america, we have laws that protect our privacy. Here in america, we don't have to tell businesses where we live and who we are, because we bought their product or services.

I work long hours, and make good money. I spend good money on my music hobby. I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay good money for my music hobby and have to give *any* personal information to the company.

Some people are truely shameless.

No Thanks again - Wizkid

I am not from America.

you don't have to ask your question on this board. you can email props email support and if you have a valid serial, they will help you.

Don't make an ass of yourself.
