new chilled drum and bass tune - feedback would be v helpful

hi, i've just produced my first drum n bass tune. the tune is a little floaty and perhaps basic. i would really appreciate any feedback as i have only just been brave enough to post any tunes on the site! the tune's called "Sukhavati" (by pearly) I took the title from a Buddhist term meaning "The Pure Land". thanks

Now this is interesting...

I'm am a junglist, so I listen to lots of dnb. And I like what I'm hearing in this track. However, I think you're using to many REX beats. I know most of them by memory, and they tend to get old...

Don't get me wrong, I do like the track, but I think both you and your music will benefit from using the ReDrum. The one thing I'm not too fond of at all is the "bass mid" Malstrom. It sounds better with Filter A frequency at 47, and Filter B frequency at 106.

One thing you may want to keep in mind is that a dnb track usually lasts longer than this though. Seven minutes is pretty common.

Anyway, great track! Much better than my first work...

Sincerely.

fpoole

(PS: I could use some feedback on this track...)
