Hooking up Midi keyboard to laptop with Reason?

is there any way i can hook up my Korg Ms2000 to my Laptop? Its Windows and no Sound Card? any help would be thanked, =)

So i find a USB cable that is mic plug in on one side and usb plug on the other?

USB adapter

No, that doesn't even make sense, audio ports are analog voltage signals, USB is digital. You need something that can convert your midi out signals from your korg to USB midi. Check google for "usb midi" and you should turn up some decent interfaces. Some can be quite expensive though.

hmmm this sounds complicated. So what im Lookin for is a type of cables?

it's not complicated. Basically it's device (not just a cable) that takes your average round midi cable and turns the signal into a USB signal.

So you plug the midi cable into the keyboard and the other end into the interface box. Then take the USB cable and connect it from the interface to your laptop.
