Moving sound bank CD's from C drive to D drive

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, and maybe I'm missing something in the manual, but can I move the sound bank refills to a different drive/partition and off my C drive?

Thanks.

Yes, but make sure you include the folder where you put them in your locations (R2.5 would be in preferences, R3.0 simply drag the folder in the browser). 'tis what I do and it's worked for me for a long, long time.

But don't forget either

If you are already using reason 3.0 or higher and you have made a collection of favourites, that will all be lost because it keeps track of it's favourites through static links that will refer to your old placement and not the new one.

Hence you lose all your favourite sounds/selections shortcuts.

Cheers!

Excellent, thank you

I was afraid of losing something that way, but luckily there was nothing setup in favorites yet.

Thanks again, guys.
