Real Drum tone??

Hello all, I'm looking at buying Reason 3.0 for my first home studio. I'm going to be doing a rock/singer songwriter solo project. I've heard some good drum tones here but not any real drum sounds yet. Could anyone please let me know if this program has a good enough "real drum" program that could make my listeners think they are hearing a real drummer??

Re: Real Drum tone??

Hi,

the factory soundbank that comes with 3.0 includes some drum samples from the Reason Drumkit Refill. But I highly recommend the entire refill (see frontpage) as a companion if you get Reason to produce "real" drums!

Another thing to remember is that a "real drummer" sound is just as much about subtlety of programming as the samples you use.

You need to put a lot of effort to make things sound real and dynamic tomake a programmed track sound like a real drummer does.

Ya, no drum machine can do that.
