: Hey everyone
:
: Finished a new downtempo track earlier - it's synth heavy and pretty spaced! I'm just getting used to some new monitors at the moment so I think the mix is a little off - any comments on that side of things would be particularly appreciated but otherwise hope you enjoy and get a nice cold beer or something!

It's good, don't think the mix is the problem, think it just needs to be finished -- a bit more of the filigree/variation that would sustain interest in the various sections and make it a finished track. It's well worth it though, as the basic track here is fabulously psychedelic.

You know I think you're absolutely right - needs to be finished! I left it in quite a frustrated state - was losing patience with it so I think it needs a bit more attention. I'm just working on another project now so I'm going to finish this then probably come back to it. Thanks for the compliments as well.

Cheers mate! I feel it's a bit underdeveloped - I've been spending ages on me next release though so hopefully what I put out next will feel a little more complete!
