Audio Interface for Reason 6

Hi! I'm new in Reason 6, i just bought it three weeks ago. But i have a problem, i don't have an audio interface, and i don't know which would be nice for me (talking about a limited budget). I searched the possibility of buying Balance interface individually, but i didn't find it possible. Could anyone tell me a compatible and accesible audio interface for mic and guitar?

Thank you,

Emark

Line 6 UX2, Balance, EMU 0404, Apogee duet for apple users. These are all good ones. The EMU 0404 is best bang for the buck. Line 6 UX2 also comes with POD farm for guitar, which integrates well with Reason 6.

If you go the E-Mu route make sure it's PCI-e or USB, they (Creative) ain't too hot on driver updates either.

I went from a 0404 to a Roland Quad Capture about 6 months ago, I forget it's there, it just works. Clean, quiet pre's with plenty of gain. I run at 64 samples latency at 24bit/48000 Hz all day long without a glitch. USB bus powered so it's truly portable too.

For vox and a guitar it's a perfect solution at around £150 street price. Mac or PC

If you've got Firewire I swear by Echo Audio's products and drivers. Rock solid.

I have used the Indigo I/O, the AudioFire 2, and the AudioFire 4. We've even use the AF4 live.

Just to put in my tuppence worth. I've got a Line 6 KB37. Inputs for guitar and mics. Amp models for the Line 6 devices in Reason. It's also got a built in keyboard so you can control all the other stuff in Reason. Don't know how limited your budget is but I reckon it's pretty good value. Good luck.

Be advised. The Tascam US 144MkII adds a clik sound to the audio when you use the HI-Z guitar input. This is well documented in other forums and reviews.

You need some Balance in your life, I owned Reason 6 when I bought it and I haven't regretted it once!
