Post SOLD - Reason 6.5 + tutorial books

I'm selling my Reason 6.5 licence along with the pristine boxes/Ignition Key and two Reason learning books.

The pack includes:

Reason 6.5
Record 1.5 (obsolete but you still get the cool icon on the Propellerhead forum!)
Reason 4 Ignite! Visual Guide for New Reason Users
Reason 4 Power! Comprehensive Reason Guide

The boxes, manuals and Ignition Key are basically brand new and everything is still there as new (stickers, licence number cards, DVDs, etc.). I used online authentification exclusively and the boxes were safely stored. I even kept the cellophane film for added protection. 8)

199 € via PayPal. I can transfer the licence online immediately and send the boxes shortly after from Belgium (contact me by PM for shipping cost to your country) with a package tracking number.

Send me a PM if interested!

Rack Extensions can't be transferred and you aren't allowed to give your login details to anyone else..

I just checked and you're right, apparently REs are lost when selling an account. I modified the post, thanks for that.

I only got a couple of free REs (special offers) but I can only image how frustrating this must be for people who bought several expensive ones...

The Rack Extensions aren't lost, they will stay in your account in case you come back in the future. To be clear you are selling the license and not the account. The account is the property of props and you can't sell it!

There has already been quite a bit of heated discussion over RE's non-transferability; just over the fact alone as well as how it may conflict with recent EU legal rulings on the nature of software licenses.

For myself, I've held the opinion that if you are buying software as some kind of investment, so that you can sell it later, you're kind of doing it wrong. I've never bought an RE that I don't intend to have available essentially forever.

A bit OT, but I'm afraid the ruling could make things worse for the customer, rather than better. The games industry has started to work around this long ago with account bindings, extra downloadables, final chapters available online only etc - now they've yet another reason to use subscription type models in the future.

Same here, I don't recall ever having resold development software or any other tools I use professionally. Of course it's different for a hobbyist who stops making music, but this shouldn't happen too often (hopefully)

One of the main offenders is now reaping the rewards for abusing customers rights

http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/3747...games-sale.htm

They are trying to blame a shift in business and won't admit they have driven customers away!
