Searching rex loops/files based on time Sig: Possible?

Hi all

Quick question: I'm wondering if it's possible to search or 'narrow down' Dr Octo Rex/Dr Rex files based on their time signature.

To clarify, I have a song that's in 3/4 time that I am experimenting with adding loops to (percussion mainly). In the browser, I am given 'Details' for a file when I highlight it (i.e. Tempo, Sign, Length, Format, & Memory Usage). These tags are useful of course. But I find the files are almost all in 4/4.

So I'm wondering if there's a way that I can restrict the list to my desired time sig - either a search based on that criteria or similar. Anybody know if this is possible or have any advice that might help me out?

Thank ya kindly you lot!

I have never seen any loops in 3/4 unfortunately. Don't know why not but, would be nice to not be forced into 4/4 if you want some nice sounding drum loops.

Help makes no mention of metadata searching (tempo, sign, length, format) and I couldn't find any search switches akin to advanced google searching! So it seems it's filename search only, at least it is in R5. As such, the old "Management by Search" section of this Discovering Reason article suggests naming your own files with as much of this metadata as possible:

Quote:
For example, REX loops have various attributes such as BPM, music genre, time signature, length, instrument and so on. Which of these attributes to include in file names is up to you, but the more detailed the file names the more flexible your virtual index will be.
That's only helpful to you if you're creating your own loop library. If you're working with refills, the only tip I can suggest is to create a new Favorites list for specific time signature loops. Then have a little organising session adding all the relevant loops to that list.

Anybody have leads on some 3/4 loops? I know Neoverse's Hybrid Aggression refill has some but that's about it.

Right, this is what I thought (no metadata search capability). Which is unfortunate.

Lunesis: I've been working with a few in 3/4. They are in 'Dr Rex Percussion Loops' > '-Keith Leblanc (KLB)' > 'Syberlog'. Three loops in there that are in 3/4. I definitely haven't done a complete search but have only found those so far...

Wish there were more!
