Stems should always be recorded from the same start point so lining up is never as problem

Definately, if not it would be just a collection of long samples. The purpose of having stems is to have the exact same positions as the original song.

Zito: Maybe a screenshot can clear things up a bit more as to what you want to do and where you are at now.

Exclamation Wav audio out of sync when imported

THe drum audio clip doesn't belong to the other wav clips, which are from the original pop song.

I am trying to sync the drums to the rest of the song or the rest of the song to the drums.

I have tried the 1/64, 1/16 and so on but not luck.

Have you tried importing the drums into a new song, with the correct tempo set before you import it? Then you can copy and paste the drums and the tempo will adjust to the new tempo in your remixed song. Then you should be able to line it up on the grid correctly.

You are better of opening a new blank reason file and sync each stem in there and save. Then import them back into your main file where your master stem is (the one everything needs to be synced to). For syncing you really should turn off snap and manually sync by zooming in closely and making sure everything falls on top of eachother perfectly. Once you have everything synced up to the master stem at 107 bpm you can then up the tempo of the entire project to 118.

I wanna add that even tho Reasons stretch is really really good not every sound will come out all that great when stretched to a new tempo. You´ll just have to find out by doing it

I have fallowed all the great suggestions given here.

I think you are right guys, I have to turn off snap and manually sync by zooming in closely, step by step.

I hope that Propellerhead brings back the Music Making Month soon. or maybe somebody outthere can make a really good video about my subject.

Thank you guys for the replies.
