I was finally able to get it to install successfully on my 64 bit OS by using the /32 switch.

You don't need any switch coz when you have 32 Bit system, installer will automatically install 32 Bit version, when 64 Bit, then it will install 64 Bit version, without any other tambourines with switches!
Although if you need 32 Bit version of Reason on your 64 Bit system, then yeah, you'd use switch!
