What is the feature request? Propellerhead should emulate this ensemble in a rack device or RE?

I was trying to show that sound design is still far behind in reason. We need the tools to sculpt our sounds.. achieving such results is very time consuming and inefficient.

Using reaktor makes me feel extremely limited, within reason. We have little control over the mathematical side of sound design.

The main things I love in reason is the consistency, reliability, usability, the efficiency (as of CPU) and the RACK!!

BUT when it comes to sound design, it's a whole process, over which you have very limited control and information.

Reaktor is perfect for sound design (especially evolving pads). One of the main things I am missing in reason is the lack of complex envelopes.. Yes I can automate instead but thats simply inefficient.

So before you start getting all 'homie' try to understand what I was trying to say. And before you try to call me brainless, check that your English makes sense!

in all honesty i feel like reaktor is a bit too much and it very complication and far from user friendly i havent heard one sound out of reaktor that blew my mind away with all of it functions.

Actually, Reaktor is pretty good. It is not a synth, but you can use it to build synths, effects, drum machines, sequencers, etc. There are excellent ensembles (a Reaktor device) out there and horrible unusable ensembles as well. It all comes down to what instruments or devices you know. Some advanced users can build devices that will blow your mind, others will make devices that are laughable at best, and most users are in the middle. The best place to go if you have Reaktor and can't roll your own devices is here:

http://www.native-instruments.com/in...serlibrary&L=1

To compare it with Reason is not a very smart move, it has more to do with Max, but this is not the right forum.

However, I still fail to see what the feature request of this thread is...

The metaphysical ensemble is a feautre suggestion(in the example of the video). I don't want to see metaphysical within reason. I want to have similar tools, I have always complained about not having the same fast workflow of other DAWs when it comes to creating more complex sounds. Take FM8 for example, the Envelopes are awesome, in reason you are limited to ADHSR at most.

And I did not compare REASON with reaktor. I was comparing thor, subtractor, malstrom and the other synths with reason to REAKTOR. Most of which are very limited when compared to reaktor's ( and other VST synths) unlimited possibilities.

Then again you can't compare modular with semi-modular but what the hell is the point of a feautre suggestion forum if you do not suggest new ideas. And compare with products in the same waters.
