If you go in the seq. and look at those short recorded notes, can you move a few of them around and see any "doubled" notes hiding underneath them ? (Kind of goes back to what Mattias was saying)

Also, Are the notes in the sequencer (the actual red notes) as long as what you're hearing?
Meaning: really short notes visually AND audibly? Or are there long notes visually and a very short sound?

Sorry if I'm slow I'm on my phone

I have reason essential balance and Nekta Panarama. You would think with this setup and legit software you wouldn't get these problems.

Had a nightmare with ignition key and now this. I have had more than my fare share of problems so far and i'm not happy.
In some cases this issue can be caused by the Panorama if you don't perform a factory reset after updating the firmware.
The issue is described here: Notes aren't recorded as played?

To fix the problem, turn off your P4 then hold the Patch- and Patch+ while turning it back on. Continue to hold the Patch-/+ buttons until you see a message that says "Unit is restoring factory defaults to all presets...".

Hope that helps.

He works at Nektar, he better know somethin!
(just kidding Justin)

But you are all set, short notes thing fixed, right?

We are lucky to have the P4 with Reason, it's the best integration I've ever seen between controller and software.
