Fwiw, the RE SDK can handle pages, think about the FX section in Antidote for instance.

I think you could do a setup where you have perhaps 2-3 operators per page, thus minimizing the amount of pages. Depending on the complexity of the surrounding stuff I think you could also fit such an interface on just one page (making it about the same size as Predator or Antidote). But it wouldn't leave much space for special features such as advanced FX or arpeggiator/sequencing.

Oh, DX7 just used a slider and a few buttons. It was hell to program, but also very space-saving .

Ok, with the hardware programmer it looks different ...
