1. Make REX of audio and load into octorex.
2. Create synth, connecting the slice trigger output on Dr rex to the gate.
3. Route audio out from Dr REX to a Neptune and connect pitch cv to the synth.
and for fun make a matrix, connect to the voice synth and flip out a counterpoint.

you can only do audio to cv no midi to sequencer but unlike live's system you can actualy do it live there's an fsb patch for it too fsb-all efects-pitch processing-special effects-analogue pitch follower then route your audio into the combinator then create the instrument you want then take the gate and cv that are going into the back of the comb and put them into your selected instrument and play your guitar or whatever sound source one note at a time.

hope this makes sense

That's a cool idea concerning the Rex bro!! Only problem is that the Neptune's pitch cv doesn't have the generic values of "note cv".. So you must use Thor as a converter to map Neptune's pitch to a Synth's.. But I'm def on the Rex idea!!!

This is amazing. FINALLY someone has created this. I've seriously been waiting for this exact tool for over 10 years. Yes it exists in other manifestations.. but never anything so powerfully simple as this. Thanks to propellerheads. Combine this with some of the CV manipulation rack extensions and this opens a new world of music. gotta go and enjoy bitspeek right now!
