Lightbulb Rack Extensions auto update and new device notification

there needs to be a check routine to determine if the rack extensions are up to date.

also we would like to receive an email notifying us of new rack extensions as they come available.

especially free ones

I agree, hitting "browse" and then sort by date just doesn`t cut it, especially since updates count as "new" thing. I don`t want to see some saturation knob between 2 really new devices after sorting by date. Bollocks.

This!

Was going to make a post about it myself. Keeping track of all the RE updates by hand is getting cumbersome. Having automatic updates would be awesome.

NO AND NO

They already send out a news letter with new RE's by email, they are also announced on their Facebook pages for every new RE which is released, besides their forums.

And I'm against auto update because updates can break things or make an RE unusable. I'd rather make my own manual updates when I feel it's safe to do so.
