Yeah it's mostly Orkester and the Reason soundbank key-switch instruments. I'm trying to convince my mother into getting me the Miroslav Gold bundle for Christmas, which is on sale for $99 right now. Fingers crossed! I can't wait to have better sounds. I am aware of sound fonts but I really just want Miroslav.
One huge problem I ran into with the strings is there are so many piercing frequencies from the stock sounds that I had to cut that it made the strings weak and thin. Tried to compensate by rolling off a lot of highs.

Thanks. I panned it like a real orchestra which seems to work very well for the frequency factor. I'll make the kick louder and add more reverb to blend better and feel a little more realistic so things don't jump out. Need to do a bit of volume automation as well.

Sorry if somebody else said the same thing. I went through the other posts quickly. I think the flutes make it sound a touch cute. That's my only criticism. I too like the drum beat in the background, and the timpani. I think you'll get the sound stuff all together from the other comments.

Ah, it's still on sale? I got it a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it.

That's the cool thing with Miroslav: it's already recorded the way the orchestra is sitting, so no need to pan (unless you like another position).
