Remote map editing

I am really hating the setup of the MIDI devices for live performance. I am trying to edit some controls on Redrum & the Remote Mapping program has led me to editing the .remotemap file. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am trying to change my knobs from controlling Pan (who needs this in a live setting??) to control send amounts. i also need to set some of the keys to change the pattern numbers & banks. I can't do this thru the Remote Override in the program, because then I can only use the control for that Redrum. Can anyone offer help, thanks

Reaaly generous of you to offer help, but this one-post thread is from seven years ago and ripple654 isn't among us anymore, hence the word "guest" under it showing it is no longer an active account.

Also check out the LINKS on the actual YouTube description area - a wealth of info there.
