I agree that must be the case for some features, however, I would think that only an experienced engineer would know the difference between a console feature existing due to tried and true, tested, best practices vs limitation. I'm sure the props have experienced people in the loop to know the difference. Not sure I could trust a non-engineer to push for any virtual console feature changes, different from the norm, just because they wish it were different.

I would like to see Props develop the mixer to have more features of hardware consoles: groups, VCA/linking, summing crosstalk, etc. and I'm very much for educating users about the benefits of traditional hardware workflows.
