OS X Always-On Piano

Is anyone aware of a program, or a widget for OS X which is a digital piano? THere are SO many times i just want to scratch out a quick idea or riff without having to launch Reason (takes forever on my machine)... i want to be able to just reach over to my controller keyboard anytime and be able to play instantly... no record functions, no sequencing... just a piano or a rhodes or something like that...

anyone?

ideas?

GarageBand is definitely the best free one. There's also a few in the mac app store. Just type in "UVI" and there's a grand piano, a rhodes and a wurli for $30 each.
