Midi Input to Matrix Pattern Sequencer

If you would create a way to program the Matrix via midi (NOT the same as an arpeggiator!), I think that would be just dandy

Just for programming sake, not necessarily for playing live or realtime. That way it basically allows it to become a step input recorder with 32 notes max. This would enable you to easily create synth riffs or melodies at the kinds of speeds that frighten large predatory animals. I've always hated that the only way to program that thing is by dragging the little dots around on the screen with a mouse. Still better than what Mozart had to work with, but hey -- making suggestions is what this forum is for!

Seems like this person wants something similar:

Also - Now that I think of it, Reason never had a Chord Memory tool either. (REALLY vital stuff for House Music Producers...) Hmmm....

Yeah, of course this is something we need! I can't believe our favourite DAW isn't able to do it already, this is not something hard to program for the Props.

You can do this with the thor.
Use the thor's sequencer note and gate cv out to whichever device you want.. and set the midi note in the mod matrix to sequencer transpose
