What instrument can i sinc my Axiom drum pads to and how?

I have 8 pads that id like to put to use. But when i right click on a kong pad drum, there isnt an option to "edit remote override mapping' as i normally would on a different device.

If a kong is created, and the pads do not sound...can you still use the piano keys to play Kong? If so, perhaps you can "octave up/down" the pads until you find the spot.

Additionally, you might want to check in the axiom manual about its "presets" if any of those or the default one Is a current Reason template.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, not familiar with the axiom. Does it have its own editor? That might help too if all else fails.

the pads won't remote map because they aren't parameters - the pads are keys and respond to specific notes.

see p.753 in operation manual to see which notes the pads map to - then you have to make sure your controller pads are sending those notes.

meanwhile, try setting your axiom to preset 10.
