No it isn't but just know that this was someone completely unattached to propellerhead that's probably doing this to many people. Don't let it put you off, I've seen people on ebay selling pirate versions of ableton for retail price, it's ridiculous what some people will do. Hope you get it sorted somehow anyway

Try to get your money back. If the operation hasn't got through yet, contact your bank to block it. If you can't do that, try to get your money back from them. And don't forget to contact Propellerhead to report this scam.

yhea friend do this: contact props and call your bank , you got two weeks to opose I think !?!

you should contact your bank because who knows if you aint ordered a plane ticket from birmanie to africa already !

and no it's not funny but you should have knowed this was a danger place just by looking at the prices !

push your bank to cancel / block / reverse the charge -- if i were you i'd also ask the bank to cancel that card and issue you a new one.

meanwhile, did your purchase include licence or registration info? if it did, you might try registering it to see if that works. if it does, you can order a Reason 5 replacement disk and/or use that to upgrade to R6.

...if it didn't include license/registration info, then they're trying to sell you a cracked version - or nothing at all.
