multi fader automation for the "big mixer"

i find it unhelpful that when using the big mixer one can only automate one channel strip at a time; this results in having to either guess or make extensive notes on which precise part of the song, for instance, you applied a filter sweep to the drums then play it again so that you can adjust the bass/strings/pads (each only once at a time) to avoid sonic clashes or digital clipping.

i know we all have to listen to our creations repeatedly (that's part of the gig) - i just wish the big mixer behaved more like it's hardware counter-parts; or for that matter the 14:2 mixer.

I just recorded automation for 4 channelstrips simultaneously and without a slight problem.

I thought I explained how to do this in your other thread (sorry if I wasn't clear)? It's just that you have to create a track and enable each fader separately - but it CAN be done!

The feature suggestion I made in that thread was a global way to enable and arm all fader, or multiple faders at once like other software I'm used to using.

For not it's just a matter of there being more clicks/keystrokes involved than need be IMO. :-)
