Besides, what the OP is really going on about is Reason's lack of Maschine/Live style sample chopping, which the new versions of the MPC have included a version of. Kong is a similar interface but it's not yet fully armed "under the hood", so to speak. The big issue for Reason in this regards though is nothing to do with the software, it's actually to do with hardware integration. This would be what the Props need to address i.e. all of the functions of the sample editor would need to be Remote enabled or a specific Reason controller would need to become available, along with a few enhancements to what you can do with the editor itself.
Ah my bad thought he had a 2000 or 1000 with jjos. Reason has fallen behind in that respect, weird thing is recycle is quite good, I remember using it a long time ago and you could export each slice as individual wav file and not just rex.
