The ASIO4ALL driver will give you workable performance from a Realtek chip in terms of latency and CPU usage but it won't make it sound good. If you used any half decent Interface you would be able to hear much better what's going on in your productions and hence make better decisions, helping to raise the quality of your work. The Focusrite interfaces are prob your best bet at the lower cost end of the spectrum but I have to warn you away from the UCA202. I bought one for when I travel and it offers no performance advantages whatsoever over the Realtek chip and ASIO4ALL.
