mp3 import available! how about export?

"For importing your own sound files into Reason, there is now support for more audio import formats, such as mp3, wma and aac to make it easier to grab loops and recordings from your music library or the web."

what about exporting ? will it also be possible?
i hope so!!!

Judging by the promo vid, I don't think MP3 export is included, but this should barely slow you down. You could use Audacity (free on all platforms) to convert songs on an as needed basis. It may be an extra step, but compared to the number of steps converting from mp3>wav>rex, I am satisfied
I also heard a rumour that Adobe had released a free version of Audition? That is a really nice audio editor with tons of features! A bit of overkill for conversion, but it can handle batch conversion.

So that you don't have to open another program to convert files. Exporting mp3 is not meant to be for serious professional use—that's true. However, whenever you are in the act of sending mp3s, it's typically because you are trying to share something quickly.

I do try to use google drive or dropbox when I can, but that doesn't always work out for who I'm working with.

so we can import the mp3's?
and chop it up in r7 the exporting doesn't matter just because Ive use
soundforge to do the final touch ups but importing would be nice and a time saver!
