Hehehehe............ what a great answer! I was laughing my butt off! Really funny! :-D

Honestly, ProTools is THE industry standard, if we like it or not. But the company behind it, AVID, really sucks because - from my point of view - these guys have no sense of customer relation. And their marketing machinery......simply creepy: 90% blah-blah, 10% truth. But, okay, ProTools as a program is okay and has it's sunny sides, but at the end it's nothing special to me, especially compared to other modern DAWs, like NUENDO for instance.

And BTW, are there still "monkeys" out there who claim that Reason is not a professional tool? Hmm.....

Your post just made me realize something...
The people who claim that Reason isn't professional are correct.

Reason isn't professional.......when it's in their hands.

Reason's "professionalism" is equal to its user's.

Or..to put it another way, one might say ...
"You can give a monkey a hammer but, he ain't gonna build a house with it."

Pro Tools is the industry standard the same as Windows is the industry standard... Doesn't mean it is good.

Or put even another way:
"In the hands of a monkey, the best hammer and the worst hammer both produce the same result." ;-)

TRUE! Popularity does not determine quality!

(most popular 'restaurant' in the world is McDonalds)
