yea it may look like laziness but it is an inspiration tool. The fact that the randomness (0 -100%)can be controlled is really cool and anything can be later edited to taste. I am not a drummer and to me porgramming drums is laborious and a distraction from my true passion for playing guitar. If I hear an interesting drum groove that has all the dynamics I want, then it is easier to make music instead of pushing endless buttons while the original inspiration evaporates.

I think, we'll see RE2.0 soon with R7 or a little bit later with R7.5. Would love to see sequencer devices, too.
