Lightbulb eliminate duplicates (midi editing feature)

i would like to select the notes on the time line and process them so that two or more midi events triggers / gates can not exist on the same event slot on the timeline

especially since I've discovered the wonders of using the note randomization feature for quickly creating new and awesome drum pattern variants. it works brilliantly to create some really neat new patterns, but I don't like that it often puts certain hits right on top of one another, which needs cleaning up to sound natural.

also, it would be cool if they built this automatically into the note randomization function, or at least allowed you to toggle whether to allow it to create duplicate notes.

I have a feeling I might be mixing the randomize function with the other similar thing. without being able to see the window with the options, I can't be sure.

Lightbulb

a feature that limits not only polyphony of the drum triggers but limits the trigger intervals so that no no can be triggered within a specified time frame
